Privacy policy: Gemini Power Tools
Who we are
Gemini Power Tools is a Chrome extension published by Adaptive Labs ("we", "us"). Contact: support@adaptivelabs.app
What the extension stores
Everything below is stored only on your device, in Chrome's local extension storage:
- Folder names and which chats you put in them
- An index of your Gemini chat titles and links, built from the Gemini sidebar
- Copies of messages from chats you open, used for search (Pro) and export
- Your settings and, if you enter one, your licence key and its status
We do not run a sync server, we never receive your chats, we do not sell data, and the extension contains no analytics or advertising trackers.
What leaves your device
Only one thing: if you enter a licence key, the extension sends that key and a device label to Lemon Squeezy to activate it and to re-check it about once a week. No chat titles or messages are ever sent.
When you buy Pro, you pay on Lemon Squeezy's checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive order details (such as your name, email and licence status) so we can support your purchase.
Permissions
- storage: keeps your folders, index and settings on your device
- Access to gemini.google.com: shows the panel and reads the page so folders, search and export work
- Access to api.lemonsqueezy.com: activates and validates your licence key
Keeping and deleting data
Data stays in your browser until you delete it. Use Settings, then Clear local data, or remove the extension. To ask about purchase data we hold, email support@adaptivelabs.app.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
The extension is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and the version linked from the Chrome Web Store.
